MTV Video Music Awards Performers and Presenters Invited as Special Guests at the South Beach iPod Garage Party

Miami, FL August 30, 2004 -- The 2004 MTV Video Music Awards will take place on Sunday, August 29th, at Miami's American Airlines Arena. And the inaugural iPod Garage Party will take place just three days later, just down the street, on Miami's South Beach. For that reason, the iPod Garage would like to extend a warm invitation to the following MTV Video Music Awards performers and presenters to attend the iPod Garage Party as our Special Guests (in alphabetical order):

We have no idea just who all might show up for the South Beach iPod Garage Party on Wednesday, September 1st, so if anyone in the general public would like to take a shot at possibly bumping elbows with any of the above celebrities, then be sure to join us that evening! Bring your iPod, and you'll be eligible to be the DJ for up to twelve minutes and compete for more than $600 worth of prizes, including an iPod mini. Don't feel like playing DJ? No problem! We'll also be giving out an additional $500 worth of iPod-related random door prizes to attendees. Oh, and be sure to arrive early: the first one hundred people to arrive will receive a complimentary copy of the inaugural issue of Playlist Magazine, in addition to being eligible for all the other great prizes.
